Who we are
Ms. Niki has a BA in theatre arts from McDaniel College and in a past life was a middle school ELA teacher. From 2015 to 2023, she returned to her roots to direct the productions for the Carrolltowne Players, her children’s annual school play, where she was able to use her years of training to engage hundreds of kids in performing arts. She has been a producer for Oklahoma Road Middle School’s Twister Theater since 2021. She’s excited to bring this experience to more children in South Carroll County, where she hopes to build a community of kindness and acceptance.
Ms. Anna is a retired professional ballet dancer who has performed across the country, including with the Dayton Ballet, the Cincinnati Ballet, the Memphis Ballet, and the MET Opera. She worked as Carrolltowne Players’ choreographer from 2018 to 2024 and is the choreographer for Oklahoma Road Middle School’s Twister Theater. In addition to choreographing, Ms. Anna enjoys yoga, reading, and driving her three extremely busy children everywhere at once. She loves teaching kids how to move their bodies to tell a story.
Ms. Jess is an elementary school teacher, but her other superpower is music. She was the music director at the Carrolltowne Players from 2019 to 2024, where she helped kids develop a passion for singing. She is incredibly skilled at sharpening the musical abilities of her cast members while building their confidence, and she can’t wait to continue bringing musical theatre experiences to the children of South Carroll County.
